42,000 Kilometers for a good Cause
Everything you need to know about our Cycle Charity "Ride with Aryza"
Life is a journey filled with countless interactions with incredible individuals. Often, we fail to recognize the profound influence they have on us until they are no longer with us, or we face the prospect of losing them. It's during such moments of reflection that we truly appreciate the memories we've created together.
As humans, it is our responsibility to honor these individuals. While expressing our appreciation through words and gestures is a beautiful way to do so, I believe we can go further. I believe in honoring them through personal sacrifice, by carrying their memory with us during our own struggles. It's about cherishing the good times and facing challenges with a smile, with gratitude for the moments we still have.
My initial inspiration for this charity cycle was to ride from Toronto to Dubai in honor of my best friend Graeme's father, Chris Adam. Graeme himself has triumphed over cancer and embraced a healthier lifestyle, now residing in Dubai. Tragically, Chris passed away while doing something he loved – cycling, in 2022.
When I shared this idea with Karen during a conversation, it took on a life of its own, growing beyond my initial vision. We all have people in our lives who deserve to be honored, whether they are still with us or have moved on to eternity.
Sadly, Chris will never know the extent of his impact on my life and our circle of friends during those formative years.
Join us in this charity cycle, not just as a physical challenge, but as a tribute to the people who have shaped our lives. Let's pedal with purpose, honoring those who've touched our hearts and celebrating the moments we still have together.
Our mission extends far beyond cycling. We're pedaling for a purpose, and that purpose is to make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer. All the proceeds from this event will be dedicated to supporting local cancer charities at our various Aryza locations. Our commitment to giving back to the communities.
No matter if you've never pedaled a bike before or if you're a seasoned cyclist, Ride with Aryza welcomes employees, partners and customers, regardless of their fitness level. Our mission is to bring people from all corners of the globe together to make a positive impact, and we offer routes tailored to every level of experience. Easy or challenging ride, you can choose the route that suits you best. You don't need to conquer the full 42,000 kilometers of course.
